- I would like to say "Thank you" for the wonderful treatment and after care you and your colleagues provided during my recent knee operation.
- Thank you for the care you have taken. I felt so happy with you all.
- I write to thank you and all the staff involved in my procedure and care for my knee replacement. The whole process from my initial consultation to my discharge was nothing short of excellent.
- Just a note to say a big thank you for the care given and appreciation of all the hard work you do.
- I didn't get the opportunity to thank you properly for all that you have done for me. You may recall that one of my passions in life - before my knees became arthritic -was long distance back packing. Well, following the success of the knee joint replacements I have been building up my distance walking and in June backpacked along the Great Glen Way. Total distance of 80 miles which my wife and I walked in 6 days. No adverse reaction and already planning the next walk.

- Thanks to the skills of you and your team Matthew, I am looking forward to a pain free Christmas which is very much appreciated. Many thanks

- I am writing to thank you and your team for looking after me the way you did. I knew I was having the best Surgeon for my hip, but it did not stop there. The whole of your team displayed passion and professionalism thoughout their tasks remaining caring and courteous. I truely believe royalty could not have been treated better than me and my fellow patients. You Mr Oakley and your team are a credit to the NHS and your fellow human beings. Once again Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

- Hello Mr Oakley, I've been meaning to send this for months, celebrating my amazing knee's 2nd anniversary.....but have been somewhat hesitant not wishing to pre-empt a disaster or invalidate my warranty!! .. But Heh ! ..you need to know my gratitude ... and celebrate success!! It was not long before I was up a ladder, under the car , getting up hills on my bicycle, building work, dancing and laying 9m X 4.5m of quarry tiles (with knee pads!)

- Dear Mr Oakley, I am writing to thank you for my hip replacement operation. I have recovered extremely well ie I have two lovely pain free hip joints-wonderful!
-
- To Mr Oakley and Team, Many thanks for putting my leg back together. Words cannot express my gratitude.
-
- Dear Mr Oakley. In Jan 2012 you gave me a new right knee. It works perfectly so I am writing to thank you very much. I wish you could perform the same miracle for all my other joints!
-
- Dear Mr Oakley, I am some what embarrassed to see that it is now more than 7 months since you replaced my left knee, so please accept my apologies for this delay. However, I am pleased to say that it has now settled down very well indeed and has been completely free of pain since I came out of hospital. There is still some very slight swelling, but even that seems to be gradually disappearing and I am able to walk and move about normally and without any problem. Once again, I would like to thank you and all your team for your excellent work and for making my life a great deal more comfortable. That's two hips and one knee, but inspite of the above I hope it is quite some time before the other needs your skills!

- Dear Mr Oakley, I just wanted to say Thank You and that I've returned from a very enjoyable week away in the French Alps Skiing. I'm greatful for all your support and thank you for not lecturing me when I said I was returning back to ski.

- Dear Mr Oakley,it is now over 6 months since you replaced my right knee and although I have thanked you in person , I am now putting my thanks in writing. My new knee has transformed my life and has enabled me to return to activities that have been very difficult for a long time.
-
- Dear Mr Oakley, It is now almost 2 years since you kindly replaced both my knee joints so, for the reason that it is often useful to recieve follow up information, I write to say my life is transformed. I am able to undertake any activity including walking, running, climbing a ladder(!!), gardening using a spade and in fact I live what I consider to be a good life in spite of my age. My Sincere thanks again to you and your supporting staff.
- I am writing to express my thanks. My day case knee arthroscopy was carried out by Mr Oakley. Not only was Mr Oakley brilliant, but the nurses were really kind.
- I am able to lead such a happier life now that you have given me a new hip and a longer right leg. I appreciate what you have done for me very much.
- To Mr Oakley, Many thanks for sorting my Mums hip out! She is almost ready to go up against Usain Bolt in the nest Olympics! Cheers!
- Dear Mr Oakley, I would like to thank you for the excellent job you did with my hip replacement. Life is worth living again having said goodbye to all the pain. I also appreciate the trouble you took to allay my fears regarding my many allergies and the detailed explaination you gave me of what the operation was all about and what to expect. Again , many thanks.
